Education cost money, but then so does ignorance.
Financial Aid Scholarships
As a school, we are committed to providing the very best for our students – from dedicated, talented teachers and quality materials, to safe, beautiful facilities and thoughtful curriculum. Unfortunately, this commitment is expensive, and it makes our tuition rates out of reach for some.
But that does not mean we have to close the door to families who cannot afford private schooling. There are many of us – inside and outside of LePort – who believe that the single greatest contributing factor to achieving a better tomorrow is offering the right education to as many children as possible today.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce our new Financial Aid Program, whose aim it is to help offer a LePort education to those children who, because of financial constraints, might not have had the opportunity otherwise. And we would love for you to be a part of our fundraising efforts!
Our target fundraising goal for 2013 is to distribute $200,000 to families who demonstrate eligibility. We estimate this amount will make it possible for an additional 50 to 75 students to receive a LePort education (depending on how much aid a given family qualifies for). LePort Schools will directly contribute half of the target amount: $100,000. To reach our goal, this leaves us with another $100,000 to raise.
We recognize that $100,000 is a lot of money; it’s a big challenge for our first attempt at fundraising. We are in our own infancy stage, just “learning to walk”, and the first step in any endeavor is necessarily a challenging one. But we are excited to take it! For we know, through the children we observe daily and the growth of our LePort schools over the years, that in life it is the small steps we take at present that add up to the significant results of the future.
Thank you in advance for your support – for being at the vanguard of our earliest endeavor to bring a LePort Schools education to children regardless of financial circumstances.
